Each participant is asked to reflect on their experiences in each of the following aspects of the institute:
1. the BioEYES Activity
2. the Modern Biology Lab
3. the Pedagogy of BioEYES Sessions
4. the Facility/Lab Tours
You might ask yourself the following questions:
1. Was I positively impacted by any one of these four aspects of the institute?
2. If so, how? (fascinated, challenged, energized, prompted new ideas, saw new possibilities, etc.)
3. What do I want to do? (provide the institute organizers with feedback, collaborate with NDeRC on other STEM projects, plan how to prepare the students in my classes for BioEYES, quit teaching and conduct research, etc.)
We ask that each of you prepare your own reflective presentation in Word or Power Point. A group of ~5 will then combine their individual presentations into a single 15-20 minute Power Point presentation for Friday afternoon's symposium. Please include photos and videos liberally. No website links please.
